#phoebethedogo #gotchaday I want to wax poetic about my girl Pheebs. Three years ago today, Tony @lackofknowledgeofficial and I adopted an 8 month old Dogo Argentino puppy from @dcdogos . Pheobe and her brother Presley @Pegsandpres were breeder surrendered, and when I saw her on DC Dogos insta, it was #loveatfirstsight I drove down to Baltimore to foster momma @evoelkel64 to pick her up and its been the most amazing 3 years. She’s my #rideordie #sidekick, #goofball, #servicedog , swimming/hiking/exploring partner and connoisseur of #softfurnishings . Pheebs digs any adventure, and is great on planes, buses, subway/trains, road trips and golf carts. Pheebs, the #animalactor made an appearance in the @NBCSNL #Waffelhouse sketch and a #SNLBumper, and even spent 6 weeks with me in LA. The quirky and eclectic Pheebs even thinks the fireworks on the 4th of July are just for her. We have a morning park crew and an afternoon park crew, and boy, does she need to wild out with her dogz….and #deer me, yes she even has a few deer-friends (lets not tell her she was bred to pack hunt large game…) Pheebs also loves her Mastic Beach #greatsouthbay and #fireisland and I swear she is part fish. The bestest, sweetest, gentle giant with a teensy bit of naughty spice… I can wait to see what the next year has in store for us!
