Saturday night Red Laser Disco at The White Hotel playing with my homie @felixdickinson was one for the books, tbh it is every time when we go to this wonderful party! Big up all the massive who reached for it. Only got one vid of the boss man, Il Bosco, dropping his killer edit of Sleeping City because we were having too much fun the rest of the time. EDIT : LOTS of ID requests coming thru on vid 1: it’s: Il Bosco’s - Red laser head honcho and all round top egg - edit of Intelligence Department - Sleeping City and he’s gonna be making it available soon for a good cause so follow their page. The other vid is from when the lights went on at 7am, absolute mad 90s like energy, no phones, just euphoria - what a club! What’s become an annual tradition with the @red_laser_records fam always brings out loads of our extended crew and friendly faces and the vibe in there is just insane, the crowd is wicked with a real mix of young and old all having it. Fair play to Il Bosco, Adam and all the gang for creating the alchemy that makes this magic happen, here’s to the next trip - VIVA MANCUNIA ✊❤️

Also have to mention the unreal @red_laser_records party at the White Hotel on December 7th in Manchester alongside my sparring partner @felixdickinson - every time I go to this party it just gets better, come in all Manchester crew, you know it makes sense! Here we go then….first wave of artists for next year’s Love International - celebrating our 10th Anniversary in Tisno and 20 years since the first Garden Festival which kicked the whole thing off (more to come soon on our celebrations for this too) We’ve gone big and it’s very exciting times, come join us as we celebrate.

My latest show is up to listen again and that gives me the opportunity to say how happy I am to be a part of @rinse.fm 30th celebrations and their Class Of 24 as part of the @swu.fm family right here in Bristol Town. 30 years in the game is totally mental so nothing but respect due! There was a point when it looked like it might have all been over for SWU which would have been such a shame for the city, now it’s in fine form and thriving so big up all involved. I love doing my show every month and appreciate all you regular listeners!New show has loads of new music from all over as ever with a few oldies thrown in for good measure! Quite astounding we are all still going to be honest, come join us ✊❤️ ❤️10 YEARS OF LOVE INTERNATIONAL❤️ In 2025 we celebrate 10 years of Love International and 20 years since the first edition of The Garden Festival in Croatia. Many of you who have been with us right from the start will be aware that Love International owes its roots to the original Garden Festival, which took place from 2006 until 2015 - becoming Love International in 2016. 20 years of history has left us with relationships and friendships that we will treasure for life with the extended Love International community sitting at the core of everything we do. Expect this year’s programme to show homage to these roots. With some guests from years gone by joining our regular team of friends and family - more on that later this month. Summer 2024 is over, put a fork in me, I’m done. What a way to see things out at @waterworksldn last weekend - everything clicked this year and the sun came out for us big time! The afters at @fabriclondonofficial was absolutely jumping as well, loved playing room 2. Thank you so much to everyone involved on this and all our parties throughout the summer. All the DJs and bands, speakers, performers of all fashions, all you wonderful dancers, all our absolute top tier crew across everything, everybody who helps us keep the wheels turning. It’s been a long summer for us again as we navigate a tricky national landscape but we are very grateful to still be here doing this so ❤️✊🙏 Also - my radio show from last month is up to listen again - new music from all over and some oldies thrown in for good measure, it feels like a long time ago but I’m back up with @pato_ranton next Tuesday for daytime action so reminded me to share this one! It’s the end of a long summer as we get ready for one last hurrah @waterworksldn in Gunnersbury Park this weekend and the site is nearly there. Ridiculous line up across 8 stages, friends, family, new, old, vibes all round with me and @chezdemilo getting things going in Hi Hat this year. All that followed by returning to @fabriclondonofficial for the afters in fine company alongside @_____francescodelgarda @drbananana @melowlow and @_______marcelina in room 2. I’m on at 3am so look forward to seeing some of you in there. Before all that though, I’m joining the one and only @palmstrax at @theloveinnbristol tomorrow night to celebrate the fact he’s done the next Sound Of Love International compilation and tbh, I can’t wait for this one. Last time he came through it was an absolute cracker and looks set to be similar this time, any family fancy some midweek action then hit me up. Next week - lying down 😀

Lots to think about since last week but spent a lot of time going through old photos and reflecting on how much Love International and Garden festival before it have become the yearly kick off and renewal for so many friendships, romances, love affairs and loads of marriages along the way and what a beautiful thing that is. It’s 20 years since the first Garden festival (!mental!) next summer and 10 since the first Love International which Is really a big deal for me and I know for many of you. I’ve been thinking a lot about how grateful I am for all the good times and how lucky we’ve all been to be a part of it. This year was absolutely magic and it seems to me as exciting and vibrant as when I started going and that’s something to be celebrated - we have some really wicked stuff lined up already for next year’s edition but for the moment we have uploaded an excellent selection of the recordings from this year including some of my faves from Chez & Ellie and Felix Dickinson from that magical night on the Olive grove plus lots of other crackers from some of the team plus mine from the beach stage. I absolutely loved playing this year, I love the beach stage so much! I’m so excited about DJing in general these days and I got totally over enthusiastic on the Thursday and was playing Orbital and all sorts! Big love to all involved as ever and really keen to get it out there for next year soon x link in the bio x

It’s one of those moments where it seems like there are no words to do this justice. I’ve seen others put so eloquently what it was that made her the beautiful human she was. Kindness, compassion, passion, empathy, absolute razor sharp wit and an embodiment of what it means to be part of a team. Humility and somehow a lack of ego that were completely at odds with how everyone else saw her, she just sort of had no idea and that was so, so sweet. Stick her on a stage however and it was pure magic, she was so confident, so much presence and power - the truth is she was one of the best ever to do it, absolutely unbelievable front woman! And the swearing- she absolutely FUCKIN LOVED swearing and she was so good at it! Somehow she made it seem softer, I don’t know, but that’s how it felt anyway. It’s hard to think of many people who are as universally loved as she was and yet I’m not sure she had any idea somehow. I’m not sure. I asked her if she was up for being on our ‘Optimism Is A Political Act’ panel at Glastonbury this year, in classic Danielle style she asked me was I sure people would want to hear what she had to say. I laughed and just thought to myself, you still have no fucking idea how loved, revered and held in honour you really are do you. We got on a call and discussed it and she loved it, she got right on board. We chatted about the need for hope, about activism, about not giving in to cynicism, about what we can all do through community and grass roots actions and she got excited and hyped about it.
