Congrats @jellyroll615 on your new album!! He has an incredible voice, vision, and work ethic. Thanks to my bro @charliehandsom3 who brought me in and did a great job producing a lot of these songs. I jumped in to help record and finish up voc prod on 14 of these songs on the album. We did all of them in about 2.5 days in Orlando and in NYC.

Sincere, the third album by my brother Khalid. This album was an absolute journey & one of the greatest pleasures of my life. I was fortunate enough to lead creative, produce, engineer, & mix this body of work. Thank you to all of the musicians that helped get this album crafted. Thank you to @courtrighthand & @heymame keeping us all in check, Levi for leading creative direction, and Peter & @chloeeethatgirl at RCA for backing us all the way to the finish line. Thank you to my best friend & manager @pj.parra for keeping my head on strait and pushing me to my highest potential. Thank you to @td.ruth for answering all of my annoying phone calls without question. & thank you @beckermastering for putting the prettiest bow on top of the sonics. Dear friends and family of the historical @recordplant , thank you. Thank you! Thank you to @echerney for passing my resume along to your love @rosemanncherney . Thank you to every runner, assistant, tech, and studio manager that took the time to teach me something. Thank you to every musician that walked through the doors of RP to be vulnerable and insane at the same time. I’m overflowing with gratefulness and appreciation for my time within this building. It was one of the most culturally significant breeding grounds for artists, producers, engineers, managers, A&R’s etc. I was fortunate enough to work my way up from a runner to eventually build my first room in an old storage closet. Most of my close friends are those who I’ve met and bonded with here. Those who were there, get it. And those who weren’t, don’t!

Here goes an appreciation post for @davidyunginkim !! I’ve known David my entire professional career as we were both interning around 2012/2013. I couldn’t be more proud to know him and observe his growth as a man. He’s become a master of his craft while also never settling for “another day in the studio”, and he’s constantly pushing to discover himself while also giving back to his communities. We did a twitch stream yesterday and it was great to hangout and explore mindset. This guy is the real deal and I’m incredibly thankful to know him!!! Let’s go DK & DK !!!!
