The way we see ourselves and the way others view us is very different. Especially when it is about our appearance. Don’t be fooled by your mind and the games it plays with you. Don’t keep telling yourself the same old story of „I just don’t look good in photos“ or „I can’t really do this“ or „I’m just this way“. No you are not. Or at least you don’t have to be. In the end it’s a decision, even if all these stories feel like a given fact. I have thought many things about myself that, over time, have been proven wrong. There is ALWAYS possibility for growth, change, newness. Maybe you can tell yourself another story. Maybe you are the one who overcame her fear. Maybe you are the one that did it anyway. Maybe you are the one that is late to the party. Maybe you are the one that withstands the strongest winds. I hear the „I‘m not an easy photo subject“ almost every time I take my camera out. But why do my images tell a different story then?
