At home sailing and working on my day bed aka pyoung-sang I found this Italian vintage @edra.official in Cologne Germany, found a way to bring it to Paris, cause it reminds me of a Korean pyoung-sang. Long story.

New residential project in Paris, in other words my Paris home 🖇️ Earlier this year, I became my own client and designed my apartment near Belleville, in the 11ème Paris. Doubling as my studio, it serves as a kind of testbed, a life-sized collage of my work and inspirations. Whenever I completed a project, I saved elements I love from being discarded, and repurpose them in my apartment. The window fabric is my work for a recent project with Amomento, part of the scenography I created. I chose a sofa that reminds me of 평상 (Pyoung-sang), my all-time favorite piece of traditional Korean furniture, which was my inspiration for the Prada Mode project last year. These items come from different projects and places, yet they seem to have conversations with one another. In this way literally I brought my work to life😉 Photo by @adrianwojtas

I often imagine about the artifacts yet unfound, glowing under our feet. And here I found that the backstage underground is where the archive collection is waiting to be found. The translucent, glowing, suspended tent is the link between the history and the present. This is me finally in a clean outfit, at the end of the set up day which is thrilling and always challenging. I sat on one of the staircases we made, next to my friend made of resin and wrapped with latex. The models themselves being the found artifacts from the heritage, walk out from the illuminated underground space that calls for an archaeological site hidden behind the curtains.
