My first week back in Sydney has been eventful ✨🖤

Wow, where do I begin? This experience has been the most incredible and rewarding of my life.⁣ ⁣ After nine years of wanting to volunteer, my dream really did come true—and it was so much more than I ever imagined. I don’t really have the right words to describe this experience, but I can express the love I have for this beautiful country and its people. I was blessed with such a wonderful host family, who I can truly say are now a part of my family. I met so many amazing people along the way, and I miss everyone like crazy. Most of all, I miss the kids in my Year 7 class. The memories I created with them will be cherished forever, and they will always have a place in my heart.⁣ ⁣ If you’re visiting Fiji, I urge you to go to a village, meet the people, listen to their stories, and see how they live. There is so much we can learn from them that you simply won’t experience by staying in a resort. Go and see the real Fiji—it truly is beautiful.⁣ ⁣ I made this video on the plane home, and I cried quite a bit (sorry to the people sitting in the row opposite me 😅). The songs in the video are of the kids singing; they start and end each day with beautiful songs. On my first day in class, hearing their voices brought tears to my eyes and goosebumps to my whole body— listening to their beautiful voices it made me feel like I was in the right place.⁣ ⁣ Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who donated to my fundraiser. When I arrived, I learned what the school and my host family needed, and I was able to use the funds we raised to buy these items. It’s a special feeling to be able to provide things that someone really needs, and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without all of your help and support 🤍⁣ ⁣ Thank you again & Sota Tale to my Fijian family and friends 🌺❤️⁣

✨ The end of an era. After 4 incredible years at Marie Claire, this week I sadly finished up. From starting as a fashion assistant, to learning the ins & outs of producing, to styling & producing my own shoots, it has been unbelievable. I wanted to take a moment to wrap up some of my favourite moments from over the years—so many unforgettable shoots, events, office moments and memories. I’m beyond grateful to have worked alongside such talented people, the MC team truely are incredible. ⁣ ⁣ A huge thank you to @nickybriger @georgiecmccourt & the incredible team for everything, lots of love ❤️⁣ ⁣ A special thank you to my fashion team 🥹⁣ @naomismith for your mentorship, for pushing me to grow, and for always inspiring me with your creativity. It has been a privilege to work so closely with you.⁣ @jordanboorman your energy, humor, and positivity made every day at the office a joy.
