A quick trip to the city with Chase. Too much fun, teaching this kid how to travel and go with the flow when unexpected things happen. Conveniently for my loose lesson plans, this day trip has had lots of those unexpected things happen, including the stoppage of all of the commuter trains on the seaboard of New Jersey... 😂 We prevailed. :-)

In addition to a big carpentry build, I did some foam carving for an event in New Orleans this week. A 17' flying saucer seemed like a good first carving project. :-) Too much fun!

First cut with my new CNC plasma cutting machine, 1/4" steel, kinda fun using robotics to throw arcs w pressurized air to liquify metal. I do love my job.
