Can you recreate a shot from The Joker? ($200m budget) Let's find out.
As I watched the Joker trailer.
I thought: Can I recreate this shot?
And that started the process.
This time I also wanted to make some behind-the-scenes footage.
And that got out of hand by creating this making-off video.
It got me into a creative flow.
Trying new things and stretching my skills.
It was a fun project, and I hope you enjoy the video.
Did this video put a smile on your face? Let me know in the comments.

The strangest thing about time.. (read caption)
Why is it that some moments feel like taking an Eternity
While other moments pass in the blink of an eye?
A couple of years ago, I found myself in a flow state.
I was filming and forgetting everything around me.
When I am creating, I often find the flow state.
It’s like time and other things do not exist.
That got me thinking.
Am I escaping other things, or do I love creating so much?
In a world where I design, bend, and shape reality.
Being intentional with what you do is essential.
This spinner reminds me of not escaping from reality.
To look at the world and reality as it is.
To face it, even if it’s ugly and hard.
Even if someone seeded an idea.
Even in the case of
Inception

Have you ever watched a scene from a TV show or film and wondered how they created it?
Trying to recreate what you see on screen can teach you a lot about the fundamentals of cinematography, including; lighting, composition, pacing and color grading.
That’s why we wanted to repost this cool REEL, shared by @fredvermeij, in which he attempts to capture the essence of this cinematic sequence from The Joker.

Wandering the streets of Paris I couldn’t skip this spot:
We’d just left the Eiffel Tower and hopped into a taxi.
Driving through the city, I saw the spot.
It hit me immediately—this was from one of my favorite movies.
The next day, I couldn’t resist. I went back, camera in hand. Took my own shots.
Now it’s your turn:
Do you know the movie? Share your guess below.

Help me pick my profile picture: 1, 2, or 3?
Shooting a self-portrait is not just about “standing there and smiling.”
The stakes feel high because a profile photo is the first impression.
After taking 300 photos, just 20 photos made the final selection.
Some of the photos could serve as a poster for a horror movie.
Learning: Next time, I’ll ask a photographer to help me out.
Which photo should be my profile picture: 1, 2, or 3?

The secret sauce: colorgrading🎨
It’s how videos get that styled look.
I’ve spent years diving deep into it.
Here’s what makes it powerful:
→ Colors can evoke emotion instantly.
→ Consistent colors build brand recognition.
→ Subtle tweaks can change a scene’s mood.
It’s the difference between a stunning visual and a forgettable one.
Can you tell the difference?

3 Essential Frames Every Creator Should Know 👇
1️⃣ Wide Shot Perfect for setting the scene. It shows your subject in context with their surroundings, giving viewers a sense of place and scale.
2️⃣ Medium Shot: Great for capturing interaction.
3️⃣ Close-Up (CU): All about details. Ideal for highlighting emotions and small actions, bringing the audience closer to the subject.
