I never wanted to be a riotstarter. As a kid, I always kept my mouth shut, afraid I’d make things worse. But now? Now I’m on this intense journey of confronting and embracing parts of myself that I never accepted—those bits that lived in the shadows but are finally ready to be heard and seen. 👁️

Just the other day, I was painting while listening to Hardcore, really letting go and creating space for the parts of me I usually tuck away.
You know, I used to listen to Angerfist all the time as a kid. I’d hop on my bike, MP3 player in hand, and race to school in any weather. That music was my outlet; it helped me express my emotions so well. 🎵
So, I thought, why not dive back into thàt music and paint what I feel? 🫀

That painting? It was born from my need to make my anger visible—the anger that was never taken seriously. With every beat and kick of hardcore, I give space to what was never allowed. Each emotion takes on a form and color, and I just pour everything onto the canvas without worrying if it looks ‘beautiful.’
Honestly, the whole process was so liberating. I let my feelings flow and paint them with all the intensity I feel.

And you know what? Through hardcore, I’ve found the courage to embrace and express my emotions. I’m learning to accept my anger and let it exist. It’s okay for it to be there… and that realization alone feels powerful. It’s all about turning chaos into creation and accepting my inner struggles as a force that pushes me forward. 🫸🌱

For those who need to hear this: Embrace your anger. Let it be your strength. Don’t let it stay in the shadows; turn it into something inspirational. Use that anger to create, heal, and reinvent yourself. Trust me, you can do this. ♥️

Hardcore music I listened to while creating this painting:
- Riotstarter
- Take u Back
- Stainless Steel
- Fuck Off
- Spook

Thankyou to @angerfist_official for the music that helps me express my emotions. As a kid & now.

A snippet of my life right now—filled with friends, creativity, and pure happiness! DJ’ing, making music, illustrating, performing… just doing what lights me up. 🔥

I’m really grateful for all the opportunities that have come my way, and I’ve got so much inspiration right now. This journey is still new, but I’m loving every minute of it and finding my flow. A couple of months left before we leave 2024 behind, and I am excited to update you with all the epic plans I’ve got for 2025. 👀

Can’t wait to share it with you all! ♥️

- This is my story.

Today, I turn 31 🎉 and I’m reflecting on the journey that’s brought me here. The past year has taught me gratitude for the little things I used to overlook. I wake up every day in a warm bed, with new opportunities, a roof over my head, clean clothes to wear, and - most importantly- amazing friends who have been by my side. These are the blessings that make my life beautiful.✨

But this story goes deeper. This year, I’ve learned to be proud of myself in ways I never thought possible. I’ve fought through struggles, fear, and self-doubt. From the girl who once believed she was nothing, had no talent nor creativity, to the woman I am now—tears fill my eyes because I can finally see how far I’ve come.

It’s not about money or material success; it’s about the inner strength I’ve built. I’ve spent my life breaking through my fears, facing illusions, and claiming my freedom. There’s nothing more empowering than being true to yourself, no matter what anyone else thinks.

So, this is my story—a story of rising from darkness and fighting for who I am. If I can do it, I believe anyone can. Here’s to another year of growth, gratitude, and living your truth! ♥️🌱

Thankyou to all the amazing beings who have been part of my journey. I wouldn’t be here without you. I love you! ♥️

@genosisthegreat is no stranger to the rave scene. Actively involved in organizing parties and creating captivating artwork. She’s committed to bringing true authenticity forward and enjoys expressing herself through various art forms.

With a variety of tastes when it comes to music, although always with a kick, Genosis finds it important to express how the music matches her energy. Whether it’s bold, and rough, or energetic and bouncy. Her passion for DJing vinyl and collecting records doesn’t stop there, she’s also a producer, always working on new tracks and sounds. Safe to say that whether she’s DJing, producing, or planning events, she’s dedicated to keeping the good vibes flowing. We know it’s going to be a good time with @genosisthegreat behind the decks!

- You were always your own artwork -

Being a Gabber was a big part of my identity for a long time.
It wasn’t just a music genre or a style; it was who I was. However, I eventually realized that being a Gabber also limited me from truly being myself.
I had set strict rules for myself, without even realizing it…
I wasn’t allowed to do this or that; some options weren’t ‘cool’ enough, or I was afraid I wouldn’t be ‘Gabber’ enough.
Eventually, I felt trapped in the idea of what a Gabber should be! And that prevented me from trying new things or simply… enjoying who I really am.
It was as if I was constantly trying to fit a certain image rather than discovering what I truly wanted.
The moment I let go of that pressure, I understood that I am more than a label or a style—I am just me!! I had always been my own artwork. ♥️

Being a Gabber is something beautiful! It gives you strength, energy, and a sense of connection, but remember that you don’t have to conform to a fixed image to belong!
Your identity is flexible, and the freedom to grow and change is what makes you unique. 🌱
Stay true to yourself, even if it means stepping outside the established paths.
Ultimately, the greatest strength of being a Gabber is the freedom to be yourself, no matter what others think. 🕊️

A while back, Jazzy asked if I’d be up for putting on a short show for the 11th of August @zomerparkfeest . But not just any show— it’s a kids’ show!
I’ll be honest, I’ve never done anything for children before. At first, I wasn’t sure if I was cut out for it. Can I really do this? 🫣
But, I love kids, and how cool would it be to introduce the next generation to Hardcore music? 🎵♥️

After thinking it over, I was like. Okay, let’s do this! But realized I didn’t want to do this without my two awesome friends who are a great inspiration to me: Luna, who’s a sound wizard, and Richelle, who brings creative humor and enthusiasm to the table.
We’re absolutely thrilled to do this together and we are already cracking up just rehearsing for it. 😂🙏

Our act will highlight the importance of self-expression and movement through the high-energy beats of Hardcore music. It’s a unique chance for the younger generation to feel the power and joy of Gabber culture.
We want to spark something in these kids-who knows, maybe this will be the start of their own Hardcore adventure…✨
In the end, with this show, we hope to inspire the next generation of Gabber! 🌍
