Papa, I’m going to miss you so much. I’m going to miss your laughter and your smile and your generosity and kindness. I learned that from you, you know! I know we were unable to see each other as much as we would have liked due to our circumstances in the past decade and a half. I wish I could tell you how much you impacted who I am and I know Carlo, Beatriz, and Isabella feel the same. I wish I could watch you be proud of us all once more. I wish you were going to be here for all the things still to come in our lives. Fate has taken you from all of us who love and care for you. I am angry that it happened. I know we had plans. I’m sorry they were taken from you but I’m beyond grateful I had every moment I did with you. I wish I could tell you how thankful I truly was and am for you. Please forgive me for not having said it more. I love you, your Beautiful Boy. P.S. Anybody reading this PLEASE if you are able to see any of your loved ones when normalcy arrives. Remember some of us don’t have that opportunity even before the pandemic. Cherish and be grateful for every moment you can spend with your Dad, Mom, Brother, Sister, anyone you love. Back in April I had to get my eyes fixed, my cousin helped me out for free in Costa Rica. I’m very grateful for the help and the fact that we were able to turn the situation into a mini vacation in the middle of an ongoing pandemic. Cannot even quantify how lucky and blessed I am to have the family and friends I do in my life. 😌😌
