This part of the design competition had to be my favorite! Category 2, each designer was allowed to bring a prop to use. We were given guidelines in size restrictions, monetary value and what products were and were not allowed. The prop should be an interperative prop of the theme of the competition, Waves of color. I designed my prop using a 4x4 post, a few square dowel rods, shims (cut at different widths and length), screws, bullion wire (crocheted), and water tubes. My inspiration was a sound wave. It is the piece that I am the most proud of and wanted to share the process with you.
