It’s worth waiting for. Seasons changing, new roads to explore. And as I feel the ground beneath me, I walk a path and it appears with steps I take. Maybe one day things will come easy. What if the struggles placed were just to test my strength- Cause the pressure’s on I know a change is coming. it’s getting late Grace wrap your arms around me. Heyyy! Sending motivation to make your voter plan early!… Y’all I just checked my status and realized that I needed to re-register to VOTE lol… Literally as I was happily taking these pics IN my VOTE tee today, I thought hmmm- maybe I should double check my polling location & status JUST INCASE. (I usually do a mail in ballot, but realized I didn’t even receive it this time) 🤔💬 hmmm- I wonder if I forgot to check that dang box when I UPDATED my license/ Real ID on my bday…..? I went to @iamavoter to check my status… NOT REGISTERED!… whaaaaat?! Embarrassing! 🫣🤬🫠 Anyway- long story long… I went online and just updated my voter registration on my phone and quickly printed out the receipt (so I can verify) for when I go VOTE IN PERSON in the coming days!! 🙌🏽😤🗳️🗳️🗳️ Now I’m BACK ON TRACK ✅ And I put a link in my bio incase I’m not THE ONLY ONE & if you too want to check your registration status!!! ❤️✊🏽❤️ Meanwhile sending you lot’s of love through ALL the noise 🙏🏽 Esp if you’re in a swing state - sending you good energy & strength! I will never forget how Stevie Wonder came through like no other a year ago at my COLOURS album release party and sung one of my absolute favorite songs ever “Joy inside my tears” 🥹🤩 and he blessed us all with with his words & an impromptu set!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽💞💞💞🙏🏽🙏🏽 The band was right there READY @errolcooney @gotbassproductions @coreybaugh15 @erinstevensonmusic 💫💫💫 It was a magical night and a God send highlight in the midst of a heavy time. Lessons: Stay ready so you never have to get ready. Showing up for those you care for & issues you care about whenever/ wherever you can is EVERYTHING. Love & light energy is infectious energy in the bestest way. ❤️💫❤️🙌🏽🙏🏽
