Things got furry at @hearstmpg’s screening of its new series, “Extraordinary World” with Jeff Corwin, thanks to special guests from @theseeingeye, the nearly 100-year-old nonprofit that breeds, raises and trains guide dogs for people who are blind and visually impaired. And the night was even sweeter, courtesy of a candy buffet from @dylanscandybar. Seeing eye dogs in training Cap, Yoda, Marlo, Fenway and Auti spread adorable good cheer and embody the show’s theme: how everyday heroes are driving positive change for humans and animals. Premiering Saturday, January 4 on CBS and Paramount+, the show shares stories of animal advocacy, conservation and empowerment. In partnership with @BradyHunterFoundation and @wildcorwin, each episode spotlights acts of kindness and compassion that will inspire audiences everywhere to make a difference. #SocialGood

🎬✨ Lights, camera, conversation! @AnnaKendrick47 joined @elleusa Associate Editor @Samuel.P.Maude at Hearst Tower this week for a deep-dive into her career, including her new directorial debut “Woman of the Hour.” From her Broadway breakthrough to her “Pitch Perfect” and “Into the Woods” memories, Anna shared her journey, dream projects and behind-the-scenes stories from her biggest moments.

We celebrated the final day of #HispanicHeritageMonth with The Lincoln Lawyer’s Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, who came to #HearstTower to talk about Season 3 of the A+E Studios-produced Netflix show and his life growing up in Guadalajara, Mexico. It wrapped up a month of inspiring events, including ERG-sponsored paleta tasting, dance lessons, cooking classes and a conversation that also honored Breast Cancer Awareness Month through a partnership with @bcrfcure. A month of Pride celebrations across Hearst concluded this weekend with LGBTQ+ colleagues and allies from across the country marching proudly at #NYCPride this Sunday. 🌈 Earlier this month, @hearstmagazines’ employee resource groups @hearstpride and @hearstlatinx hosted their second annual Drag Loteria Ball, bringing together colleagues for a night of fun and games, @hearst_np’s ERG Out@HNP discussed queer representation in comics with King Features, @TheFitchGroup’s Pride Network collaborated with Fitch Working Parents & Caregivers for a panel on LGBTQIA+ Family and @hearsttv’s HTV Pride and Hearst’s NextGen Network volunteered to support @hetrickmartin. #HearstRISE

This week, we celebrated our People & Purpose at Hearst Tower and embraced the start of summer. Thank you to @explorercoldbrew for our morning iced coffee, @badhabit.icecreams for their one and only NYC-style black & white cookie ice cream sandwiches and @theowlsbrew for the boozy teas and sparkling spirits. We learned how to play @puzzmo’s latest game, Pile-Up Poker; picked up great beach reads recommended by our brands through @wordupbooks and cleaned up with the @nycsanitation Foundation. All hail the queen! 👑 Huge thanks to actress and singer @GoldaRosheuvel, @BridgertonNetflix’s Queen Charlotte, who joined us this week at #HearstTower for a conversation with @TownandCountryMag’s Leena Kim. “[Bridgerton] was something that was sizzling that we hoped would change the course of television, movies and how we as a society, people of color, would be recognized,” she said. “To reflect a gay storyline, bisexual, biracial, male, female, everything — to be able to have a platform to do that in this day and age is powerful.” Thank you, Golda, for your time, your stories and your wisdom!
