What a journey this year has been! I’ve been a fan of @henrikaau’s artwork for a long time. His ability to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary, evoking raw emotions with each piece, resonates deeply with me. I felt he was the perfect collaborator for a fresh take on a “Goddess Unplugged” cover—one that honors the original while offering a new perspective. As the 10th anniversary of “Goddess” approached, I wanted to celebrate it authentically. Each of my songs starts stripped down, so I aimed to share their raw essence with the audience that supported me. “Goddess Unplugged” is my reimagining of the album that defined my breakthrough, reshaped for 2024. Henrik graciously reinterpreted the original artwork in oil, adding his unique touch. I’m thrilled to share this project with you.
