Let me be real with everyone. I started Legacy Grip in 2022 just as a way to build a rental business for my jobs as a key grip. But in the past 2 years this has turned into so much more. We’ve built a community that prioritizes knowledge and growth - and let’s continue to expand. When first starting out in this industry I wish I had a database of knowledge I could reference to enhance my skills. So I’ve been brainstorming… …What if there was a place just for us? Newcomer, established, and veteran grips. A real online resource with a reference library of rigs, deep-dive case studies for all kinds of projects and interviews with industry professionals. As another year rolls by, I’m just grateful to be doing what I love with the people who push me to be better every day. This past year with Legacy Grip has been filled with amazing projects, creative challenges that keep me sharp, and grow in so many ways. I couldn’t be more thankful for the crews who make it all possible. Every set brings new lessons, new opportunities, and a reminder of how lucky I am to do what I love with people who inspire me daily. We’ve built them out of pipe, truss, modx, and have used solids, water solids, ultrabounces and muz. A counter weighted low-pivot rainbow rig for DP @veraeric and On Running! We toyed around with using workout bands here because at the top of the motion the rig would almost snap into place.
