Here are 4 things you should consider testing out while trying on wedding dresses before you commit to the one that’s right for you! Now of course not all of these will apply to every dress but over the years we have learned a few things and brides have taught us a few anecdotes as well! 1. The sit test- If sitting down comfortably on your wedding day is important to you, be sure to see what it feels like to sit in your dress! Maybe consider an a-line or ballgown silhouette as opposed to a fitted gown! 2. Raising your arms- is your fiancé taller than you? Maybe you love the look of off the shoulder sleeves but you like to break it down and tend to be a fist pumper on the dance floor… you may want to try raising your arms to make sure you can move freely! 3. Walk- it’s as simple as that! See how it feels to move in your gown. You’ll be wearing it for quite a while so you want to make sure you’re confident walking around in it. Or at least down the aisle! 4. Dance- we have had countless brides break it down during their bridal appointment. As silly as it sounds, if you plan on wearing your wedding dress through your reception, be sure you can bust a move how you like to!
