His short films have premiered at multiple film festivals, he has produced independent promotional content for award-winning filmmakers, and his fencing documentary Creation of a Legacy, was endorsed by Olympic foil fencer Miles Chamley-Watson. As an editor, Jared has been cutting for over a decade and is currently assisting on a feature documentary.

Producer
Deborah Shonack (she/they) is an up and coming filmmaker based in New York City and Los Angeles. They are a senior at NYU Tisch School of the Arts double majoring in Film and Television and Spanish. Primarily a writer and director, she also works as a producer and assistant director on set. Deborah is a Martin Luther King Jr. Scholar at NYU and is passionate about stories that center communities who’ve been underrepresented in film, especially Latine and queer communities, and is super excited to be working on “Second Intention”!

Cinematographer
Toby Romero is a Cinematographer based in New York City and Los Angeles. He’s been accepted for a fellowship with Ghetto Film School and a four year internship with Warner Bros. leading him to his work on the Netflix show Fuller House. His Norwegian and Latino background help influence his unique visual style. He strives to work with a range of people and doesn’t allow one single genre to confine him as he continues to present his name and reputation in the industry.
