@wale and the DMV their flowers for pioneering an iconic shoe. despite having an outsized impact on culture globally - from sports, to music, to fashion, to film, etc - the DMV is underrepresented, undervalued, and overlooked in every way you can imagine. it was nice to spotlight our area for once, with all the changes and sacrifices it’s had to make through its history. and we’re still here.
