Had a lovely chat with Saoirse Ronan for @voguemagazine 🥹💙 I remember seeing her in the Amy Heckerling rom-com “I Could Never Be Your Woman” (her first movie!) and thinking even then how terrific she was. We’re both ‘94 babies and I feel like I’ve grown up alongside her work — when she got an Oscar nom for “Atonement,” I was rooting for her up to the moment Tilda Swinton won (she was overdue!) “Lady Bird” came out the year I graduated college and moved from OKC to NYC, and I must’ve seen it (and cried) six times in theaters. “Little Women” has become a sacred text between my sisters and I, and “Brooklyn” holds a dear place in my heart. Now she’s in a brilliant new film called “The Outrun” that you all should see! And as always I’ll be waiting patiently to see what fabulous thing she does next 💙
