Turkey Leg Killen 2008-2024 This time last night we had a plan…. It did not hold. There is surely a giant Turkey Leg sized hole in my heart right now. This cat taught me more about love than I ever could have imagined. I believe meeting him calmed me inside and allowed some of the pain of my youth to subside. That allowed me to focus and become a better creator. I started writing better songs after he showed up. And I suspect I’ll get a few good ones from his departure. He showed me unconditional love even though I wasn’t even the one who fed him most of the time. He was by my side when I worked from home and slept in my armpit during the night. We invented a game called Yarn Mouse and he was world champion. He was the best boy and will forever live in my heart. I love you Turkey Leg🐾❤️
