Very very very excited to have bitten the bullet on what is, technically speaking, the first “full” cinema lens set I’ve ever owned in 6 years of filmmaking. Meet the DZOFilm Arles Primes, a superfast and rocksteady grouping of glass and metal. And while it isn’t all about the gear, being able to make an investment like this in the thing that I love to do most is for me an inspiring reminder of how lucky I am to be able to do what I do. Can’t wait to sling these all through 2025 on productions big and small. Cheers, and huge thank you to my long time friends @poetaband for being the stewards of their maiden voyage on set and allowing me to share some example stills. our new album “Fade Away” is out now :’) Two years of pouring ourselves into this music. It’s yours now; to soundtrack your days & experiences, and develop your own connections to these songs to continue keeping on. This is an album about redefining what “work” means in the context of your overall life. about lineage, timelines, intrinsic qualities that we all carry that were instilled in us from those that came before. Learning to love those qualities; the good, bad, the human. about the terrifying outside world that seems to get scarier by day; but behind the closed door, these people in our lives; they’re so beautiful and so radiant, and how utterly confusing that feeling is. This album is about rounding the end of our 20’s and really focusing in on what we all really care about. We hope you take a moment to listen to our new album today. It would mean the world.
