FIRST FEW DAYS IN BRISTOL 🇬🇧 This is a special post for my mother 🤍 @lorrae3482 Some quick flicks of the last few days in my mother’s home town Bristol. A very important part of my travels re connecting with my English heritage and connecting the amazing stories I heard of my mother’s upbringing before she migrated with my Nana sisters and siblings in the late 70’s to Australia 🇦🇺 A very emotional experience being guided through Bristol to visit some of the places and people my mother grew up with 🤍 Feeling a lot of love at the moment and couldn’t think of a better place to be on my birthday 🙂‍↔️ A special mention to @debbiethomasx for being such a legend and a beautiful soul 🤍 1st - Bristol Bridge and I 🙂‍↔️ 2nd - Some classic graffiti 3rd - My mother and her little brother Shaun early 70’s 4th - Classic Banksy 5th - The steps my mother talked about playing on when I was as a child 6th - A movie of the sheer size of the bridge 7th - Beautiful Jackie who was part of the kids that helped look after and raise my mother. And of course little Leila Deb’s all star daughter and BFF 8th - The house my mum was first raised in in Hartcliff standing with Deb, Jack and Leila 🤍 9th - My mum used to always tell me about the Bristol bridge and how magnificent it was. 10th - My mother and her twin sister Lavinia the year they migrated to Australia 🇦🇺

One month lapping up the sunshine ☀️ and enjoying some me time in Lagos. Catching up with old friends, meeting some legends, seeing some insane beaches and landscapes, and indulging in some crazy night life. A life changing experience feeling very humbled 🤍 Time for the next leg of the trip…..
