Yesterday, we brought Istanbul’s raw punk spirit to life with the screening of our documentary ‘Eastern Punk: Echoes of Punk in Istanbul.’ Friends and family gathered for an unforgettable evening of storytelling, live performances, and an exhibition celebrating the city’s rich punk subculture. Then, we will head to Bina for the film's companion exhibition and party. From the emergence of proto-punk in the late '70s to the dynamic youth scene of the 2020s, the short documentary captures personal narratives, live concert experiences, and the broader cultural backdrop that influenced punk culture in Istanbul.
