Introducing ‘The Arrow of Resilience,’ designed by @ashtonferrelll. Draped in royal blue and adorned with over 4000 hand-placed Swarovski crystals, this gown took 240 hours to create. It represents the strength, beauty, and spirit of the Guyanese people.

As I walk the stage, the flowing cape moves with grace, embodying the resilience, boldness, and promise of our nation. This gown is more than just an outfit, it’s a symbol of unity and pride. With every step, I carry Guyana’s story honoring our past, celebrating our present, and inspiring hope for a brighter future. 🇬🇾♥️

These past few weeks have been some of the toughest I’ve ever faced. It hasn’t always felt fair, but through it all, I’ve learned so much and grown in ways I never expected. After everything, I wanted to take a moment to thank God for guiding me through some of the hardest times I’ve encountered, and for giving me the strength to push through and learn from every challenge.

I then visited the orphanage I’ve been going to since I was 14, spending time with the kids who remind me every day of what truly matters, love, kindness, and staying grounded no matter what life throws at us. This was all made possible by my mom, who, from the time we were six, took us to orphanages to teach us the importance of selflessness and giving back. Her guidance and values have shaped who I am today.

I also had the chance to catch up with my sister, Chandini. It’s always so lovely to spend time with her, and I’m reminded of how important it is to cherish the relationships that lift us up.

I am truly humbled and thankful for these experiences and the people who continue to inspire and uplift me. These moments are what keep me going, and I am beyond grateful. 🇬🇾♥️🙏🏼 #Grateful #Blessed #Humbled #Guyana

Honored to have had the opportunity to present the Innovation Award at the Guyana Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber plays a vital role in supporting and promoting the growth of Guyana’s business community, and I’m grateful to have witnessed such inspiring innovation. Every time I return home to Guyana, I am reminded of the warmth and hospitality that makes this country so special. Proud to be part of a community that is continuously pushing boundaries and shaping the future. #GuyanaChamberOfCommerce #Guyana #Guyanese #Wearethefuture #businessgrowth #entrepreneurship 🇬🇾♥️

Yesterday, I had the incredible opportunity to visit St. Cuthbert’s Mission, a place that left a lasting impression on me, and I can’t help but reflect on the warmth and beauty of the experience.

The day began with a special blessing from the village chief, who kindly approved our visit and arranged for a village council to guide us through the tour. As we walked through the village, we were welcomed by the peaceful, humble surroundings that felt deeply connected to nature. One of the highlights was visiting the central Benab meeting area, where the community gathers to discuss important matters. The sense of unity and tradition here was real, and it felt like we were stepping into a living piece of Guyana’s rich history.

We then visited an agro-tourism lodge owned by the legendary Amerindian songwriter, singer, and storyteller, Mighty Pakuri. It was an honor to stand in the presence of someone who has played such a vital role in preserving and sharing the culture of Guyana. Mighty Pakuri is best known for composing the famous “Matapee” song, a melody that captures the essence of the Amerindian spirit and their connection to the land.

The deeper I learned about the village’s heritage, history, and way of life, the more I felt a sense of awe and admiration for the people of St. Cuthbert’s. Their culture, passed down through generations, is not just about survival but about thriving in harmony with the natural world. Every story shared, every tradition practiced, brought to life the diversity that makes Guyana such a unique and beautiful place.

To top it all off, we were given thoughtful gifts and tokens by the village council gifts that symbolized the generosity and hospitality of the community. As I left St. Cuthbert’s Mission, I couldn’t help but feel inspired, I live by this saying, “To know Guyana is to love Guyana.” This visit was a powerful reminder of the importance of preserving culture, embracing diversity, and connecting with the people who make this land so special. It was an eye-opening experience that I will carry with me always.

Looking ahead, I am excited to continue my journey and learn more about the many rich cultures in Guyana. 🇬🇾♥️

Every journey has a story, and mine has been about purpose, passion, and the desire to create change. Tonight, I take the stage at the Miss World Guyana competition, carrying with me the lessons of my past, the dreams for our future, and the vision that has driven me to this moment.

I share not just my story, but the heart of what I stand for my commitment to holistic living through Habitual Lifestyle, my love for Region 4, Demerara-Mahaica, and my dream of representing Guyana with pride on the international stage.

This isn’t just a personal journey it’s a celebration of the strength, beauty, and resilience of our people.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way. Wish me luck as I step into this competition ready to give my all for Guyana. 🇬🇾♥️🌍🙏🏼 #MissWorldGuyana #Region4 #BeautyWithAPurpose #LieveforGuyana #LieveforWorld

Today was one of the most meaningful moments of my life as I proudly represent Region 4, Demerara-Mahaica home to our capital city. I stood tall, spoke from my heart and shared my thoughts on the importance of pageantry during the Miss World Guyana Head-to-Head competition.

Each of us were interviewed after the challenge by the panel of judges, answering questions that allowed me to dive deeper into my vision, my purpose, and what it would mean to hold the title of Miss World Guyana, a dream I’ve carried for as long as I can remember.

Dressed in a white pantsuit, I felt a sense of renewal, hope, and responsibility. To me, the white symbolized Guyana’s purity of heart and the unity I hope to inspire. The blue earrings I wore belong to my late mother, carrying a piece of her with me gave me strength and peace. Her spirit reminds me every day to lead with love, grace, and resilience the values she instilled within me.

This isn’t just about a title for me it’s about purpose. It’s about using this platform to bring people together, to celebrate the beauty and diversity of our country, and to use this platform to uplift those who need it most. I walked into this experience with confidence, authenticity, and a heart full of gratitude for this opportunity to make a difference.

To my fellow Guyanese, this journey is for us. It’s about showing the world who we are, what we stand for, and all we have to offer. Thank you for your support and belief in me. ♥️🙏🏼🇬🇾🌎

Over the years, I’ve learned the power of giving back to my community. Whether mentoring children, organizing donation drives, or helping build homes, I’ve seen how one act of kindness can inspire lasting change.

Through my platform, Habitual Lifestyle, I am working to create a ripple effect, educating communities on holistic living and empowering them to thrive emotionally, physically, and mentally. Every initiative I take is rooted in the belief that small, intentional actions can build stronger communities and a better Guyana.

Let’s work together to make compassion and equity the foundation of our nation’s future. One good deed at a time, we can create a brighter tomorrow. 💚🌎🇬🇾
