We have won the 2024 Royal Academy Dorfman Prize! We are deeply grateful to the organizers @architecture_ra for the opportunity to represent Ukraine at such an important architectural competition. Big thanks to the jury for their decision, and to the other nominees — it was an honor to stand alongside you. Since the start of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, we have been actively involved in volunteer efforts, with a primary focus on restoring roofs. In our reconstruction work, we researched the local culture and architecture of war-affected regions. Based on our researches and archives, we created art projects that raised awareness of the war in Ukraine and the importance of preserving cultural heritage during war. This award means a lot to us, as it gives us the opportunity to share our story with the world. A special thanks to Goshka Macuga @gonogo.space for nominating us for this award.
