A monumental kick off - Stranger Things Season 4 -May 26, 2022 Finally got around to creating a full length montage of this day, blending actual footage with parts of the animation used during the audio composition and mix. I was fortunate to be called into this one of a kind project by Nadir Simon - sound editor - to polish, mix and master the audio content of this 12 minutes soundtrack… The Empire State Building’s first immersive show using light, sound and projection. It was also part of Netflix’s largest campaign activation to date, marking the return of the show’s fourth season. More than 9,000 fans congregated in New York to watch the display, many of them in Flatiron Plaza, where a lighting ceremony was held with some of the stars from the show. Looping for 2 hours with a fully synchronized soundtrack, the light show brought sparkles to the eyes of 5000 New Yorkers and 100 million people across social streams. Getting those animations onto the Empire State Building required 46 projectors mounted to an adjacent building.
