Celebrating Women’s History Month 🎥 @MegKettell, SOC ⁣ ⁣ Meg Kettell, SOC joined IATSE Local 600 in 2005, after studying Cinematography at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. She began working her way up in the camera department and has had the honor of working alongside the best crews, Cinematographers, and camera technicians in the business. ⁣ ⁣ For Meg, the camera department is the perfect blend of artistry and technical skill and being a Camera Operator is by far the best job on a film set. It’s a distinct privilege to go to work every day where you get to collaborate with other artists and storytellers, figuring out how to get to the heart of the story. ⁣ ⁣ Meg has had the opportunity to Operate on many Netflix + AppleTV comedy specials, such as: the Beastie Boys Story, two John Mulaney specials, Ronny Chieng, Adam Sandler, Jo Koy, Phoebe Robinson, and W. Today is my Nana’s Birthday (born 1916) ❤️ She was the sweetest little old lady from Pasadena the world has ever known and I find myself missing her more and more each year. Luckily, Nana lived a full life to 96 years old. I loved sending her postcards from all the places around the world I’d travel to for work. She saved them all.
