Very excited to see this utterly gorgeous film put together. It was a delight operating for @maxime.alexandre who’s an incredible artist in the purest form. It was truly an honour to DP 2nd unit with so many amazing people. Some of the most beautiful images I have ever captured and I cannot wait for people to see it. Warning* it may be a scary one 😱

It’s always fun sharing some old stills. This was for a commercial I shot with Dir @karljanisse for Apple pie capital. The premise was to do the intro to 2001 or Barbie if you didn’t know where Barbie got it. Talk about big shoes to fill. Very simple approach. All in camera. I personally spent 3 weeks looking all over Vancouver island finding just the right location for beautiful vistas with no civilization on any of our angles. a day lit exclusively by the grips @grip_victoria

I’m excited for the next project to solve a whole new set of lighting problems. By far the most fun and unforgiving part of cinematography in my opinion. And that’s coming from a guy who’s pulled some focus.
