Walter Isaacson’s presentation yesterday on Timeless Leadership at the Evolution Equity Partners Cybersecutity conference in New York was truly extraordinary. Drawing on the stories of the remarkable individuals he’s written about, he illuminated the shared qualities that set these world-changers apart. Referring to Einstein, he highlighted the essence of being “crazy enough” to think differently. As the famous Apple campaign says, these are “the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers” those who refuse to conform, defy the status quo, and in doing so, drive humanity forward. They embrace their unconventionality, push boundaries, and ultimately reshape the world. Isaacson beautifully tied this to passion and humility. He illustrated passion through the image of Steve Jobs standing before the iconic garage where Apple began, emphasizing that great things often start with a relentless drive in the simplest of places. And he underscored humility through Benjamin Franklin’s 13 virtues, reminding us that even the greatest minds remain grounded in their pursuit of improvement and service to others. The unifying thread among these icons, Isaacson noted, was their indifference to external judgment. They didn’t let societal norms or others’ opinions define their paths. Instead, they focused on their vision, courageously and unapologetically. It wasn’t just a lecture, it was a masterclass in leadership, courage, and innovation. Isaacson’s insights left an indelible mark, urging us to dare greatly, think differently, and lead with purpose. Absolutely inspiring.🤍

This year, we’re honored to bring this unique project to Myslbek—a place where history meets modern design, fashion, and pop art.
