Last month, the first Dolby Atmos feature film I mixed landed on @netflix (We managed to crack the top 10 for a bit too). I was truly honored to have the opportunity to see this one through and work with writer/director Dan Krauss in person earlier this year. You learn so much about the craft when you're in a room with someone as creative and instinctual as he. I'm forever grateful to @vaudevillesound for having me and for @bigjp78 for believing in me. The editorial crew Vaudeville put together did a truly phenomenal job crafting a soundscape to tell this story-about a time in our country when uncertainty was pervasive and how complicated an investigation like this one can be. @justinmellandmusic ‘s score was such a pleasure to mix and I never got tired of listening to how he expertly crafts a vivid, synthesized and yet organic and emotional thread of music. @ross_millership laid the ground work with an impeccable dialogue and sfx/edit and Atmos pre-mix 🙏 Check it out if you're looking for something to watch this month. @clarkgregg is so good in this film. You'll be surprised how it all went down after 9/11.

Lately, I’ve really been trying to regain my focus, which feels like it’s been evaporating in this era. I’ve been playing guitar for a long time, it was my first instrument and it means the world to me. There is nothing more valuable in my opinion than a tactile sense of creativity, and I’m trying my best to cherish that, not be too hard on myself and play more often with the intent of practicing focus and completing ideas. Best wishes in ‘23 to you friends and fam 🤙
