Dancer-turned-director @ezrahurwitz and Ailey II artistic director Francesca Harper feature movement as museum pieces against the Whitney Museum of American Art's striking architecture for "Echoes of Ailey."

Big Red Button is a directing duo comprised of Johnny Burns and Pier van Tijn. They met just out of film school and have been directing commercials, short films, sketches, and long form comedy ever since. Their work is united by a cinematic visual approach, detailed production design, and a surprisingly subversive sense of humor. They’ve worked with clients including HSBC, Orange Business, Virgin Media, and Snickers.

m ss ng p eces is happy to announce that Tusk has joined our roster. Tusk, the directing duo Kerry Furrh and Olivia Mitchell, is best known for imbuing every project with bold, art-directed exuberance and nuanced character development.

Their hilariously insane ad for Liquid Death featured Puritans, pitchforks, and a tallboy of canned water burning at the stake, set to an ’80s pop song. Liquid Death’s “F**k Whoever Started This Shit” was named in Fast Company’s Top 5 Ads of 2023, Adweek’s 20 Best Spots of 2023, and Ad Age’s 40 Best Ads of 2023. In 2024, Tusk was featured as one of Adweek’s Creative 100. 

Tusk’s recent short film "Ripe!" premiered at Tribeca Festival where it won Best Narrative Short. A queer coming-of-age story set in Spain, the music, lushly-colored scenes, and grainy film stock uniquely express the feelings of a first, all-consuming crush. "Ripe!" was executive produced by soccer star Kelley O’Hara and won accolades at the Provincetown, SCAD, and Frameline film festivals among many others. The film is currently on the Variety Oscars Prediction list for Best Narrative Short.

Aramique has joined m ss ng p ece’s immersive roster. He is a master of large-scale immersive experiences, interactive installations, and experimental storytelling that brings a lyrical and human-centered approach to brands and technology.

Aramique and m ss ng p eces have made their creative partnership official on the heels of successful collaborations this year for Starbucks and INFINITI. In October, Aramique helmed an experience in New York City celebrating art and coffee and created an interactive art wall at Starbucks’ Reserve Roastery that let guests explore the metamorphosis of the coffee flower. The event featured a special DJ set by musical artist Jungle. In March, Aramique led a car launch for INFINITI and Publicis Q, building a multisensory activation for the automaker’s reveal of the all-new 2025 INFINITI QX80. The VIP event took place 100 stories up at The Edge, the outdoor sky deck at Hudson Yards in Manhattan. Featuring a private performance by Grammy- and Academy Award-winning musician Jon Batiste, guests were invited to step inside stunning new audio, lighting, and cooling features through three innovative art installations. 

Aramique’s practice has spanned experimental storytelling, art, and technology projects with brands, institutions, record labels, and non-profits. His client activations include HBO’s Game of Thrones, Amazon Prime Video at ComicCon, and Fox Entertainment’s Blockchain Creative Labs launch at SXSW. His installation-based public experiences have been featured at festivals including Art Basel, TED, and Moogfest, and institutions like Palais de Tokyo, New Museum, Museum of the Moving Image, Arsenal Contemporary, and Mobile World Congress. His work has been celebrated by publications ranging from The Guardian to Time Magazine.

Bao is an Emmy Award-nominated Vietnamese-American filmmaker known for his nimble, nuanced documentaries that turn the intimate into the epic. He has directed more than twenty short films and documentaries and worked with top-tier clients including Google, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Uber, and Samsung. His most recent short, Don’t Make It Complicated, for Apple’s ‘Shot on iPhone’ series was the tech giant’s first-ever major campaign shot in and for Vietnam. Bao and his excellent local crew successfully bridged worlds to make one of the most-watched films in Apple’s history, with close to 60 million views. His latest feature documentary, The Greatest Night In Pop, about the making of the seminal global hit song "We Are the World," had its world premiere at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival. It launched globally on Netflix shortly after, where it quickly became the number one film internationally on the platform. 

In 2021, Bao was recognized for his work in the Asian community and selected as one of the year's Most Impactful Asians by Gold House on their A100 List. He’s also a 2022 BAFTA US Breakthrough recipient.

Director Josh Nussbaum and m ss ng p eces collaborated with FleishmanHillard 
to unveil Rice-A-Roni’s dinnertime innovation, Mac-A-Roni. In a TED Talk parody, Joel McHale, as Chief Macaroni Officer, delivered a humorous keynote wearing a snug red turtleneck to announce the new treat. 

To further commemorate the launch, fans were invited to attend The Mac-A-Roni Experience in New York City – a showroom/tasting-room pop-up event, also produced by m ss ng p eces.
