Join us in the community for a reflective discussion with director and multi-disciplinary artist
@jovan_todorovic as we delve into how presence shapes his artistic journey and personal growth. This session explores how showing up fully for the creative process influences Jovan’s work, life, and creative philosophy. Filmmaker and Coach for Filmmakers,
@jbregel will moderate the session.
Jovan holds an MFA from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, Serbia, and is celebrated for his evocative storytelling and award-winning projects like The Belgrade Phantom and Juvenile (premiered at IDFA and EnergaCamerimage). His poetic short film, You’re Dead, America, explores themes of death, decay, and rebirth, uncovering the extraordinary in the ordinary.
As the founder and lead vocalist of
@zntndr Jovan’s multi-disciplinary creativity has earned accolades such as Cannes Lions, Clio, and Ciclope awards.
What We’ll Cover:
• How presence shapes creativity and personal growth.
• Trusting instincts and overcoming creative blocks like “lazy inspiration.”
• Balancing life and creativity, including the impact of fatherhood.
• Embracing failure to sustain creativity in a demanding industry.
This isn’t a lecture on “how to be present,” but an open conversation about the evolving role of presence in Jovan’s creative journey—and yours.
