So excited to share this one 🖤 Did this lil number with my insanely talented friend @jj_scheff Thank you to @playwhatsnotthere for the drums (they were the result of putting headphones on Kosta , without him listening to the song , and just going for it . Thank you to @makersandmystics for having me on their podcast! Was such a privilege and so much fun. We touched on my process a little bit, and chatted Beetlebugs, the Wind, and some other music. Stephen is an absolutely wonderful person, and we couldn’t stop ourselves from continuing to stay on and chat long after we finished recording. Link in stories and on their page 🍃

My new single “The Wind” is out now! Wanted to take a second to thank some wonderful humans who made this happen. . Much love and gratitude for Miles Showell at @abbeyroadstudios for his magic mastering touch . Was so wonderful to finally meet after all these years! Huge HUGE thank you to my dear friend @lilybelknap for her patience, talent, and time. So many memorable days tackling and discovering the strings with me . And Kosta !!! For his incredible touch on the drums ! (Fun fact for the producers, drums where done with varispeed woo) . And lastly, @averywheless for her talent with the camera and shooting the cover I wanted to try something different with this one and along with the official version of the song , there’s a piano version and a string epilogue version. All on streaming platforms :) One of the last slides is a video of first coming up with the idea of the song . There was a power outage and I set up candles and did some improv . Both “Birds” and “The Wind” came from that sitting
