I’ve lost count of the accolades and records we’ve achieved this year with @shaboozey’s “a bar song (tipsy)”. It’s a testament not only to the quality and endurance of the song, but also a testament to the hard work that Shaboozey and his team put in, tirelessly working, touring and showing up when he was needed. It’s also a testament to the incessant work the entire @empire team put it globally to not just promote the song, but evangelize Shaboozey as a force to be reckoned with. Now, just over 6 months after its release, “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” is officially the longest running #1 song in Billboard Hot 100 history. Independently. Don’t ever let “them” tell you what can’t be done! Congratulations ‘Boozey and to everyone connected to this incredible project! 2025 here we come.

I never thought my music journey would take me from West Coast Hip-Hop to Africa all the way to Nashville, but if there’s one thing I’m beyond grateful for, it’s having had the privilege to not just experience different cultures and communities, but to actually have a global impact in them with the work we do. Thank you @shaboozey for being an outstanding artist, stand up human being and for entrusting EMPIRE with your career. This is a milestone and a massive achievement, and yet we’re just getting started! Today, “A Bar Song (Tipsy) sits atop the Billboard Hot 100 charts and also becomes the first song EVER to break Top 10 at four different radio formats.
