Many senses are felt as you step into Norlha’s atelier. Juniper burns, its smoke signalling the start of a new day for Norlha’s artisans. Sitting down to their looms, the clatter and clack of the shuttle sets a steady rhythm as mantras are sung, prayer beads never too far to hand. Light streams through the window, yak wool curtains hang in doorways to keep in warmth. The energy in each artisan section is infectious and warm, a mix of concentration and laughter as yak khullu is spun, woven, felted and tailored ~

Nomad Peaks Throw ~ Intensely soft and woven from 100% yak khullu, the Nomad Peaks Throw’s loose weave was developed by our master weaver using only two of the four pedals on the loom. It features a band of fringed wool on one side of its ample length, creating a subtle, textured effect. Perfectly paired with Norlha’s Straw Cushion Covers and Felt Ocean Bed Cover.
