I am less than a week away from my first triathlon sprint in Maine. Over the last 12 weeks I trained in swimming, cycling and running — I learned things get easier over time, I challenged myself and I encouraged myself to strive to reach new goals. I would like to dedicate my triathlon race efforts to the people of Sudan who are rebuilding lives after the destruction taking over their home country since April 2023. If you have the means, I am taking pledges suggested at ~ $20 starting donation amount (each rounded mile I will complete at the race) to be donated to the @saving.algeneina committee’s active fundraiser linked in my bio.
