Met this legend @gabi.vivanco last night after the show, discovered he was a winemaker, and had a morning tasting of his brilliant flower wines before heading for the airport. Fascinating flavours and stories. Various methods employed, producing 3 distinct styles. Certainly floral (no surprise there!) and honey notes in all but also yellow and tropical fruits. A visit to the excellent @museodelamemoria in #Santiago, #Chile, about the history of the 1973-1990 regime, was a shocking & poignant reminder not to take Human Rights and Freedoms for granted. This genuinely wonderful tour with @realsirtomjones has covered countries at opposite ends of the @officialfreedomhouse Freedom Index but this exhibition viscerally highlights what can happen in the extreme.
