Work is slow, and there’s a looming TTC strike this week, but I’m spending time with people I love and finally got around to fix my flat tire. Insomniac is this Friday!! My fav event of the year, this time online and IRL! and also with performances!! This event is my yearly reminder that art and films can be made with the friends u love or in ur bedroom alone and it go so hard!!! So proud of the team this year and really excited for people to see these amazing DIY films and performances. Paradise Theatre & Online 8pm start, 7:30 doors but get there early cause tickets are first come first serve 👀 see u in the seats and in the chat 🏋️‍♂️

🚨🚨TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!! Insomniac: The Movie: The Game: The Premiere!!! Game doors open: 5pm!!! Movie Premiere: 8pm!!! at InsomniacFestival.com!!! Come see the fruits 🍎 🍇🍌🍋 of our labour and love culminating in this click thru game and feature film extravaganza!!! This project encompasses so many things I love about the DIY film scene and can’t wait for you all to see it 🥰🥰 The film was made by 16 incredible filmmakers/teams, some of which you can meet in the game~~~ and the game was made by the amazing @linaw_u ❤️❤️ I feel so inspired by such innovative things DIY communities/artists have been doing this past year and damn this year has been dark as hell but attending those events/checking out those projects have been giving me a lot of hope and nourishment day to day. I hope this movie and game is somewhere between a pleasant snack for your heart, or a stomach exploding, mandarin buffet experience for the brain. Or it could be none of the above but I have immense gratitude for everyone who supported making this and for anyone who checks it out anyway 🤎❤️💜💚🖤🧡🤎❤️💛
