This is my story on endometriosis I have had this condition for 3 years and counting, this has been a long and draining process for my body and mind. The constant not knowing or understanding of it and the lack of awareness about endometriosis. Being told that you are most likely unable to conceive at the age of 18 and is still unlikely that is possible was hurtful. knowing that one day I would want to settle and have a family of my own… This turned into a lack of interest due to lack of sexual desire. The pain of normal things like sex or even walking can be such a bitch… It spreads from my pelvis(abdomen) my legs and my lower back. Doctors prescribed me medication like codeine , co-codemol etc knowing that the were quite addictive knowing my past experiences… these pain killers never worked and honestly made me feel sick each time. I’m always looking for new ways or natural remedies/ herbs to help… At the moment I use “gardening” to ease my pain and stress from my endometriosis.
