Ahead of last week’s Vogue Threads exhibit in Paris, model, designer, and Miss Universe 2022 @rbonneynola took us into her process of getting ready. Wearing archival Mugler (@muglerofficial) paired with thrift-shop sourced bottoms she fashioned into a skirt at the last minute, the eco-conscious fashion designer muses about showcasing Filipino talent to the world through #VogueThreads2024.

Last night I debuted my first collection in the Philippines HOW TO SURVIVE ON LAND AND SEA When @bcbench offered me this opportunity, I had to say yes. Even though I’ve only been in the Philippines for a few months and didn’t know where to begin, I knew I needed to take this challenge on to find where to source materials, produce, manufacture, etc. Navigating these past 2.5 months has tough, inspiring, and rewarding to make this vision come to life.
