Can’t wait to celebrate our 7 incredible @wsjmag Innovators tonight

In July, I visited @matthieu_blazy at the 15th century Venetian palazzo leased by Bottega Veneta to host VICs and events. We talked about the brand’s new fragrance line, his favorite spots in Venice, and how collaborating with Carrie Mae Weems made him wonder whether fashion could ever be “cute.” Out in Saturday’s @wsjmag!

Our fashion week schedule is wild—we sometimes do 10 shows/meetings a day. This is my ‘note to self’ that going out of your way to visit a new brand can be hugely rewarding.
