Stats that stood out! 👇✨📸🎥

🌍 Over 200M creators worldwide
Content creation isn’t just a trend—it’s a global industry with millions turning their creativity into careers. In the U.S. alone, 45M creators do it professionally, proving that the digital space is full of opportunities.

💵 Earning potential is real
Many creators turn their passion into a steady income by leveraging platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. From brand deals and ad revenue to selling products or memberships, the ways to monetize are endless—and the top creators are earning six to seven figures annually.

📊 Top platforms for earnings
Platforms like YouTube and TikTok lead the way for creators earning the most. Instagram remains strong for collaborations, especially in visually-driven niches, but direct income is lower compared to video-focused platforms.

🛠 Monetization strategies
You don’t need millions of followers to make money. Successful creators diversify their income with brand deals, ads, shooting services, product sales, courses, and even exclusive memberships (where 48% of supporters are willing to pay for premium content!).

🌟 Creator demographics
Creators come from all backgrounds: 52% are men, 47% are women, and 1% identify as non-binary. Millennials dominate at 41%, but Gen Z is rapidly growing, shaping the future of the creator economy.

📈 Creator economy value
The creator economy is valued at $250 billion today and is projected to grow to $480 billion by 2027. It’s not just a side hustle—it’s a thriving industry with unlimited potential.

Content creation is more accessible than ever. Whether you’re starting with short-form videos or building a dedicated community, there’s room for EVERYONE. It’s always needed.

💡 Focus on your niche, engage with your audience, and stay consistent. The opportunities are endless if you’re ready to take the leap.

I found this compact solution for us 📲🫡

My phone has 1TB of storage, but it’s just not enough if you’re a video creator who loves shooting in 4K. So, how do you store everything?

Meet the Lexar 2TB SSD—your compact, super-fast solution for storing and working on massive files. It makes transferring and editing way easier. Just plug it straight into your laptop, and you’re ready to create with no limitations. 🎥✨

Don’t let slow storage hold you back. The easier the process, the more fun it is to stay in your creative flow.

These are some toxic traits I had to let go of over the years, and let me tell you—they were holding me back BIG time:

1️⃣ Loyal Client Syndrome: Staying tied to your Day 1’s out of guilt, even if it keeps you from growing. Your business can’t evolve if you’re afraid to lose people who don’t want to grow with you.

2️⃣ Undercutting Your Neighbors: Trying to be the cheapest barber on the block is a race to the bottom. You’re not just hurting yourself—you’re dragging the whole industry down.

3️⃣ Afraid to Raise Prices: Blessing of the barberlife? You can give yourself a raise. Don’t price gouge, but stop leaving money on the table because you’re scared someone might complain and go somewhere else.

4️⃣ Owning Clients: Acting like clients can’t go anywhere else? They’re not your property. If you’re good, they’ll come back. If not? Well, that’s on you.

5️⃣ Scarcity Mindset: Hustling 24/7 doesn’t equal success. You’re not a machine—work smart, not non-stop.

6️⃣ Gatekeeping Knowledge: Keeping all the tips and tricks to yourself because you think someone’s gonna learn your skills and “steal” your clients? There’s more than enough heads to go around.

7️⃣ Knows It All: Thinking you’ve already arrived and don’t need to grow anymore? That’s the fastest way to fall behind. The key sign is stagnation in your career—when you stop learning new and challenging things that could push you to the next level.

I don’t know where these toxic traits come from—shop culture, ego, fear? But I’ve learned to let them go, and it’s been a breath of fresh air for me to continue allowing myself to grow and not have such limiting beliefs.

✂️💈 Which of these hit hardest for you? 👇

The first two things I identified with as forms of expression were hair and tattoos.

You are judged on whether you fit in or stand out, so choose whatever feels right for you. I can’t imagine not living as the person I want to be or being seen how I want to be seen.

Being in the hair industry allows us to embrace that, and I’m forever thankful for the experience.

This is helpful on so many levels 📲⚡️

Sometimes, I don’t have an extra shooter to help capture my content—but I still want my page to look polished and high-quality to match my camera work. Here’s how I make it work:

I use the Blackmagic Cam on my iPhone. It gives me pro-level controls and lets me bake in color with my custom LUTs, so everything matches the aesthetic I’m going for. No extra editing, no extra gear—just clean, cinematic vibes straight from my phone.

This setup is perfect for those day-to-day moments or quick BTS when I’m on the go but still want my content to look as clean as possible.

If you want to level up your iPhone content too, comment “iPhone” for the direct link or check out the link in my bio for easy access!

Happy Sunday!

Barbers, what’s your content goal?

Are you trying to:
➡️ Build a loyal clientele?
➡️ Become an educator in the industry?
➡️ Lock in deals with big brands?

Target: Your content needs to reflect your goals. Show off your transformations for clients, share tutorials if you want to teach, and highlight top-tier products if you’re aiming for brand partnerships. Your page is your resume—make it work for you! 💪

👇 Drop your top goal and what you’re working toward in the comments. I’ll choose 3 people, check out your page, and give you personalized feedback on how to level up your content in your DMs🚀

It all started in the barber chair… 💈❤️

As a proud American and child of immigrant parents, I’m deeply thankful for the opportunities I have every day to build upon my dreams—pursuing things I once couldn’t even imagine.

Barbering became a space where I could work with my hands and, unexpectedly, find my voice. As someone who was once shy, a doubtful introvert, and self-critical, this craft gave me the chance to grow. Social media became an outlet to build character and challenge myself through its highs and lows.

It’s not truly rewarding if it’s not hard, challenging, or uncomfortable. Those struggles make the little wins along the way so much more meaningful.

Barbering pushed me to become a content creator, which opened doors to new skills and self-growth. The journey hasn’t been easy, but through every challenge, it’s been one of the greatest blessings and tools we all have. I’m beyond grateful for the brands I get to work and create with—collaboration is truly one of my favorite parts of this industry.

This path is yours if you want it. But it demands undeniable mental strength and the resilience to keep moving forward—even when the destination isn’t clear—because you care about what you leave behind. It’s a commitment to yourself: to be proud of every step, from beginner to ever-evolving expert.

As the year wraps up, I find myself reflecting deeply. Being in my own home, surrounded by friends and family, reminds me that life is what you make of what you have. In a world often consumed by comparison, don’t forget: we all have our own unique lens through which we see life. That’s what makes each of us special in our own way. 🫶🏼
