As the final gig of the 2024 year for H34VEN0N34RTH (with our start in June) we send off the year with a banging Boxing Day party, for the fourth episode of ST4RCH. Headlining the event we have beat guru and mastermind Jensen Interceptor, chauffeuring crowds per his namesake (what a beautiful car) on a genre tour through our favourite genres of Juke, Baile Funk, Footwork and Techno. He’s also the founder of International Chrome, a mainstay of many a H34VEN0N34RTH dj’s USB, and record label with tracks by international guests past (heyyyy DJ G2G) and future (secret), Jensen Interceptor truly is a key part of the foundation of our grooves party in. Give him a warm welcome from Berlin as we show him some delightful Kaurna hospitality. In addition to Jensen Interceptor we have Naarm powerhouse and founder of Club Haus, Haus of Ralph joins the party, raising the temperature from their spicy selections, steaming venues with selections of Latin club, Baile Funk and Vogue Ballroom rhythms. Haus of Ralph, is a perfect alignment not only in the other artists and genres they’ve spun with, but the welcoming nature they have in elevating POC, trans, gender-diverse, and femme voices, a clear focus on creating and supporting a community outside of just a party. Supporting these two we have two acts, bethybabez, a dancefloor puppet master of Kaurna’s Nausea known for her hypnotic vogue beats and moving global club rhythms and a cheeky long awaited B2B between our director know.clu and Adelaide super star, NLV’s Strict Face, once tested in the garage you’ve seen clips from other guest mixes now finally put to the test. Expect funky selex ranging from vogue, Latin club, hard drum, guaracha, baile; the whole spice rack. We can’t wait to celebrate the end of a wonderful year with you all, it’s been such a blast and there have been so many delightful faces in out of our gigs this year. The name will speak for itself when the full details of the night come to life. We know SCS can throw a party. We know this is one they've been pouring themselves into all year. Big yes. Don't miss. Loading in the main event of Sugar Park Pres with Happy Station - the Sugar Park Party that inspired it all. We welcome two American heavy hitters, Alton Miller (USA) and Scott Grooves (USA) to charge the day with an array of house. Local legend Fin Le Guin is teaming up with Melbourne’s Hannah D for a b2b to segway the night into a huge techno set to close out the evening. What’s up heads. Saturday marks a special one. We’re staring down the barrel of our first year of reopening and also seeing Sugar into its 23rd year of late nights. We’ve poured ourselves into putting on as many shows as possible, bringing over 60 internationals, 40 interstaters and 165 local DJs to the table. To say it has been challenging would be an understatement and a newfound respect for Driller and previous partners has been realised. To have made the ride keep rolling for 22 years at this pace is baffling and requires a level of love dedicated to the cause far beyond what can be comprehended without experiencing it. With all of that, though, it has been incredibly rewarding to be a part of a subcultural hub. We re incredibly grateful for everyone who has played, promoted, worked and partied with us as we find our feet in this new home. We’ll be spending Saturday night at the venue with Anthea and friends to bring in the new year. Its free entry all night. Come have a drink, say hey and let’s bring Sugar into year 23 with a bang.

After just concluding their US tour, Eora based DJ and producer Donatachi shines their sparkly charm on ST4RCH, headlining and flipping the script with their glittery selex in all realms of jungle, bubblegum, hyperpop, trance, breakbeat and electronic music. Their discography and attention spans a wide range including Ayesa Erotica, Rina Sawayama, Slayyyter and Ashnikko. A perfect selection in Sugar’s namesake. In support of Donatachi’s headlining act, we have two Naarm legends and icons soaring in the scene, influencing even certain members of H34VEN0N34RTH to start DJing, with Prophecy Girl and Chaotiic Good. Born into Brooklyn’s rich musical heritage and currently rocking Queens, Jovonn was raised among rhythm, spinning records at iconic NY block parties and clubs since his teens.
