This is us.

We found a very special place in the Italian mountains called Ossana. The vibe made us feel like we were “home”. We were welcomed by the Mayor, Laura and met so many lovely locals. We spent the day at a family run farm indulging in fresh cheeses from the cows Mavi got to meet. That evening we had a 3 hour dinner at Antica Osteria- a father/son impeccable fine dining ristorante. They even prepared a special dish for Mavi. The next day we explored this Castle for hours. Before we said farewell we went back to Antica Osteria for lunch. Luca, the chef prepared more magical local dishes and Marino(the father) we nicknamed “The Godfather of Ossana” because of his electric charisma. We are on the road to Lake Como now as I’m writing this and we are already missing the village of Ossana. Here’s a fun Christmas gift idea. We swapped presents for experiences, some are small outings and some bigger getaways and overnights. Can’t wait to open them up!

We love our followers and most of them know Mavi and his thrill seeking nature, but as soon as a reel goes viral all sorts of new people(that don’t even look at his page for context) come out to say that he’s unhappy or that they know what’s best for my cat. This time it was sledding, but it happens all the time because Mavi is constantly doing things people just cannot phantom. Angry keyboard warriors start coming for a cat account that is creating content to entertain and inspire. Mavi is on a 16 foot retractable leash when sledding so he can jump off anytime he wants to. He also is never forced to do anything- instead we believe that if you slowly train a cat to do something then they will actively want to do it with their own free will. Mavi loves jumping onto the pool floaties too, we never force him there either, he always has to go on with his own free will. We’re huge advocates for taking extensive time when training your cat to do an activity or trick so I wanted to address these comments and show that animal behavior is not absolute. Believe me if a cat is unhappy about something they definitely will let you know and Mavi is no exception to that.

The dogs might be a little jelly of his swim skills 😂

Slow acclimation to anything new is always the key for us.

It’s a tough job.

Nick calls them “love bites” it’s just a little pitch to wake ya up and make sure you’re paying attention to him. He never actually bites down so it’s an action of affection and trust.
