@_maximiliandavis_ and I both used to think of @ferragamo just as a shoe brand our mothers liked. I know this because I interviewed him on how he has led to a rebirth of COOL at the brand for our September issue. Davis’s Ferragamo oozes sensuality and femininity and desire like no other right now, with fabric gathering at the bottom of his dresses like thick brushstrokes in a renaissance painting…a detail that has consumed my thoughts ever since I saw his first runway.
