After spamming Discord with medieval-themed trap tracks during the pandemic, @2hollis has blown up with a new style that sneaks pop hooks into pulverising rage rap and EDM. But during his live first shows, opening for rage rap star Ken Carson on this year’s Chaos tour, the elfin artist quickly realised that he still needed to earn his stripes. “I got booed off stage a bunch of times at the beginning of that tour,” the 20-year-old tells THE FACE. “But I was just like: ‘You know what? Fuck this. I’m going to keep pushing it, because they’re going to get it.’ And it worked. It was crazy. It ended up being so, so insane.” Now, 2Hollis inspires massive moshpits every time he takes the stage. “I want to be the biggest thing in the world,” he declares. Fair play. In partnership with @mubiuk, a packed house of lucky FACE readers and specially invited guests enjoyed courtesy drinks and a preview of the brilliant new film. Craig, clad in tweed trousers and wintry knitwear, was on passionate form for the Q&A as he spoke about his character’s elegantly dishevelled styling and pretending to get high on Ayahuasca for a standout scene. When we spoke with @mustafathepoet for his FACE cover story in September, the musician was travelling to Northern California for a festival before heading to a special homecoming show in Sudan. “I get to go to the motherland, bro,” he told writer @nifmuhammad. Now, he is heading back to his parents’ birthplace as part of his first proper tour, which also features stops in the UK, Europe and Egypt. To celebrate this milestone, Mustafa has released a special YouTube video showcasing a performance of songs from his excellent debut album, Dunya, filmed in Los Angeles. This calendar just shot to the top of our Christmas wish-lists 🎄⁠ ⁠ Artist, designer and general corset genius @michaelastark has linked up with fellow artist Daniel De Valle (@thevxlley) on a new calendar for 2025, featuring Michaela in nature-inspired creations conjured up by the duo. Using found materials such as petals, willow branches and flowers, she and Daniel melded Michaela’s body with organic forms to represent every month of the year.
