Probably the geekiest thing I’ve ever done, but I love it: The Curse of Monkey Island is my all time favourite point and click adventure, maybe even pc game. With Bill Tiller’s beautiful world designs, the amazing music of Michael Land and Dominic Armato’s debut as the perfect Guybrush voice it just made me fall in love the second I dived into this mind-blowing world more than 25ys ago. (Goes without saying that the list of great people to name here goes on!) But after spending way too much time looking for every easter egg or funny dialogue line, I always wondered why Guybrush “had” to lose the cutlass after the ship capsized. Was it because otherwise he could have used it instead of LeChuck’s cursed ring to open the porthole? I don’t own any rights on the franchise and don’t earn any money with this. Ship ahoy! 🌊🐋 Earlier this year I had the pleasure of contributing the animated title sequence to the eco thriller series THE SWARM by Game Of Thrones Showrunner Frank Doelger and Intaglio Films, based on the bestselling novel by Frank Schätzing. With the backgrounds filmed by Roman Hill I animated all the titles and the predesigned THE SWARM logo for the intro sequence adapted for each of the 8 episodes.
