It’s been 2 years since our last in-person retreat. I was so nervous. I wasn’t sure what it’d be like now that we are almost 50 people. I wasn’t sure what it’d be like now that we are too big to all stay in a couple of houses. I was worried it would feel stuffy and formal. It wasn’t. It was as heartfelt as ever. We had deep chats, lots of laughter and yes, even some tears. As I boarded the plane, I could feel my heart…so full of love and pride. So grateful to our team and the incredible things we do together.

Making of a walking stick... 1. Find a stick and get the Ok from the ranger to take it home 2. Sand it 3. Varnish it I feel so proud of my little maker! This was followed by “mom, wouldn’t it be cheaper to buy a walking stick” Me: ummm, probably...but that’s not the point :)

Last camping trip of the year at one of our favorite Redwood spots. Ranger Michelle made nature even cooler. Did you know that Redwood seeds are acidic and will turn water purple? This is how the Redwoods bark gets its protection from bugs #natureiscool #redwoods #STEM

This weekend was all about nature, family and friends who are basically family and of course food. It was perfect. Love that even though we live on opposite coasts we are still close.
