My *heart* is full and so is the caption I’m someone who has been (and continues to be) affected by heart disease and last night I made sure to SHOW UP to host The British Heart Foundation’s Heart Hero Awards, an evening celebrating the people who are dedicated to making a difference Yes the hair is gorgeous but what was even more beautiful was standing in front of a room full of heart hero’s. From those who performed lifesaving CPR, scientists who are conducting world changing research, to those battling against serious conditions and so many more amazing individuals. It was an honour to even be invited let alone have some of my family in attendance, my siblings have only ever known Yinka the patient. With heart monitors, operations and scans being the norm so to have them at such a special night meant more than my mediocre typing skills will allow @the_bhf ❤️
