Hello!! Rubber / Vomit is OUT NOW on all the music listening places — the first two songs from my album Sleep Terrors, which will be coming to you in full early 2025 🌓 I wrote “Rubber” back in 2011 in my dark wifi-less college apartment in Berkeley, and it remained this crazy demo on my hard drive until I decided to re-produce and re-record the song last year in my studio. The cover art is a portion of an oil painting I made also back in 2011 in a painting class. Both from a different time, both bookends to a certain long period of my life — they feel relevant to me in this moment. “Vomit” was written and mostly recorded at my friend Lucas’s guest cabin up in Nevada city, in November of 2023. Both of these songs are about experiencing a shift in a relationship.
